FAQs

Q: Are your services covered by insurance?

A: The services of an RHN are eligible for coverage under many extended healthcare plans. Please inquire with your insurance provider to confirm coverage.

Q: I’m thinking of getting a personal nutrition consultation with you but it seems that all the recipes you post on your website are vegan. Will I have to follow a vegan or vegetarian diet?

A: This is one of the most commonly asked questions I receive.  The answer is no, one does not have to be vegan or follow a vegetarian diet to benefit from any nutritional consultation package I offer. The “type” of diet you follow (vegan, vegetarian, raw, paleo) will always be your choice. It is more important that we address all major underlying issues that could be contributing to inflammation and imbalance in the body like: food sensitivities and intolerances, candida overgrowth, poor digestion, intestinal health, nutritional deficiencies and so on.

Once you book an online consultation and fill out my detailed client intake form, which gives me insight into the type of imbalances that might be going on inside your body, I create a customized wellness plan designed specifically for your individual needs and preferences.  I do not force any particular diet or lifestyle on anyone. What I do is create a well-balanced, anti-inflammatory protocol and menu plan that is right for your individual needs!

Q: Do you have an office for meeting with clients?

A: Most of our consultations are handled online. Communication is handled through email, telephone or skype and all information, meal plans and recipes are sent to you through email.
